- Category 6 (Cat 6): This indicates the cable’s performance standard. Cat 6 cables are designed to support Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed networking protocols. They offer better performance and more stringent specifications compared to Cat 5e cables.
- UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair): This means that the cable consists of pairs of wires twisted together without any additional shielding. UTP cables are commonly used for Ethernet networking in environments where there’s minimal risk of electromagnetic interference.
- Pure Copper: This indicates that the conductors inside the cable are made of pure copper. Copper is the preferred material for Ethernet cables because of its excellent conductivity and reliability. Pure copper cables are generally of higher quality and offer better performance compared to cables with copper-clad aluminum (CCA) conductors.
- 305M Length: This specifies the length of the cable, which is 305 meters. This length is suitable for large-scale networking installations, such as in commercial buildings, data centers, or campus environments.
